Your first step to getting your Lang trailer ready is to inspect all your seals. The roof perimeter, trim seals inside and out, seals around your vents, AC unit and vent stack. After that, we suggest you plug in your trailer and turn on all the lights, heat strip, warm that trailer up, make sure critters didn’t get in somewhere and chew on an electrical line.

If all the lighting is working, time to hook up a water line and SLOWLY turn on the water. Make sure your valves are open to the trailer and that your valves to the waste tank are closed. Did you check to make sure the valves to the toilets and sinks are open? After the lines have had time to fill, go to each of the rooms and check for any leaks. If no leaks, start flushing the toilets and running the sinks to flush out any antifreeze and to get water through the lines.

Now would be a great time to add deodorizers and enzyme tablets to your waste tank.

If everything is working on the inside, time to check the outside. Tire pressure, lug nuts, running lights, brake lights and turn signals.

Your Lang trailer probably needs a good washing after winter storage. We do not recommend pressure washing. The gel coat is an important protective coating on your trailer. An all-purpose car or RV wash/soap is perfect. Then a coat of an RV or fiberglass wax will have your trailer shining.
