Does your restroom trailer have a strong odor? Can’t seem to get the waste tank clean? It might all be from not “charging” your waste tank before each restroom trailer rental.
Before a restroom trailer is taken to a rental site, we recommend that in the waste tank, there is one inch of liquid or roughly 10% of the waste tank capacity. For example, if you have a 5 Station Pro Series restroom trailer, you have a 525-gallon waste tank. We recommend that you fill your fresh water tank with 50 gallons of water, and then drain that fresh water into the waste tank.
Your Lang restroom trailers waste tank is a completely flat bottom tank. When a guest goes #2, if that “solid” does not have a vehicle (water) to disperse, it will stay directly underneath of the toilet and slowly begin to mound up, eventually creating a blockage.
Mounding, presents two problems. A potential clog to the toilets, and your waste tank never really gets clean, creating more odor.
Charge your waste tank before each use, and drop in a deodorizer tablet and enzyme tablet into each toilet of the trailer at the same time. The enzyme tablets will work to break down the solids and toilet paper, and the deodorizer tablets will insure everything smells great.
We recommend the following products from Walex.
Porta-Pak Express. This is a waste tank deodorizer, drop in tablets that dissolve quickly.
Commando. Powerful enzyme formula tablets that clean waste tanks.
