The Challenge

Lang Specialty Trailers was contacted by a large Party Rental company looking for a solution to a common problem. The rental company was tasked with providing a temporary tent structure for over 1000 guests in a parking lot located in the heart of Pittsburgh PA. The rental company was also contracted to provide luxury restroom facilities for all 1000 guests. This unique downtown location had incredible views of the city but virtually no large available spaces for the trailers. The only location capable of housing the restroom facilities was a small and very busy bike lane! The rental company contracted Lang Specialty Trailers to design two custom restroom trailer that could accommodate up to 500 guests each and not exceed 27’ in overall length! To make things more difficult, the rental company wanted the same on board fresh water tanks and oversized mechanical rooms they have grown accustom to on their other Lang Specialty Restroom Trailers.

Our Solution 

Lang immediately went to work designing a floor plan that could accommodate this clients needs. After multiple revisions to the design the client approved a 21’ long 9 station floor plan. Even with the compact design, this trailer still boasts a larger than average mechanical room with built in 200 gallon fresh water tank, 750 gallon waste tank, 7 private stalls, 2 urinals, and 3 sinks/vanities. 

The event was a great success! The trailer performed so well at the event that Lang Specialty Trailers decided to make this design one of our standard models. The custom trailers are now known as the Pro Series- 9 Stall Restroom trailer!

The 9 Station Pro Series Restroom Trailer

Our new 9 station restroom trailer was designed with the rental operator in mind! This compact yet spacious design weighs in at less than 10,000lbs and is built on a 21’ box! Overall length of the trailer is less than 27’! This unit is perfect for events requiring a large capacity trailer with a smaller than average footprint. This trailer was created specifically for special events taking place in cities with limited event space. Even with the compact design, this trailer still boasts a larger than average mechanical room with built in 200 gallon fresh water tank, 750 gallon waste tank, 7 private stalls, 2 urinals, and 3 sinks/vanities.
